Conference Venue
The 23rd ARRB Conference will be held at the state-of-the-art Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC). The centre was re-developed in 2005 with greater exhibition space now available. The ACC sits on the edge of the city of Adelaide with access to numerous hotels and various places of interest including the Adelaide Oval, National Wine Centre and Haigh’s famous chocolate shops.

Traveller information
Passport
Travellers to Australia need a valid passport or similar certificate of identification.
Visa
Everyone, except travellers with Australian or New Zealand passports, requires a visa or an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) to enter Australia. New Zealand passport holders apply for a visa upon arrival in Australia. All other passport holders must hold a visa or ETA before travelling to Australia.
An ETA is equivalent to a visa, but there is no stamp or label in your passport and there is no need for you to visit an Australian diplomatic office to submit an application. If you are eligible, the ETA is issued electronically by a computer system operated for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) of Australia. Visit the DIAC website to apply online for an ETA.

Local travel
If you are travelling by air, the Adelaide airport is only 7 km from Adelaide’s CBD. Both taxi and airport shuttle bus services are available at the airport terminal. The suggested accommodation venues are situated directly opposite to the Adelaide Convention Centre so that you can help the environment and yourself by walking to and from the Centre and your accommodation.
Adelaide Metro’s tramline is FREE to ride between the Adelaide Railway Station and South Terrace. Visitors to the 23rd ARRB Conference are encouraged to use this service, along with your travel smart maps, to explore Adelaide, the place to be.
There is also a FREE City Loop bus service. The 99C City Loop service links with the tram at Victoria Square and North Terrace, taking passengers on a loop around the inner city covering destinations such as Rundle Street East, Hindley Street precint, Central Markets, Botanic Garden, University of SA City East Campus and many more.
