PRIMAX FWD trailer-mounted
The PRIMAX FWD trailer is the classic Falling Weight Deflectometer solution. Mounted on a double-axle trailer, it is independent of the towing vehicle and can be towed by any vehicle.
The FWD can be connected by Wi-Fi or cable. The operator controls all FWD functions from the PC, which is placed in the towing vehicle. This makes measurement work simple and easy , with only one operator required. For processing and analysing of recorded data, we recommend the software package RoSy®.

PRIMAX FWD Van-integrated
The van-integrated PRIMAX FWD from Grontmij is the solution for use in urban areas. It is well-suited for measuring in densely populated areas, areas with a heavy traffic load or in areas where safe, accurate and quick manoeuvres are required, such as airports, and when measuring concrete plates.
The van-integrated FWD equipment may be driven at normal driving speed, and the clear view from the van while testing offers optimum road safety. For processing and analysing of recorded data, we recommend the software package RoSy®.

PRIMAX Super Heavy Weight Deflectometer
The PRIMAX SHWD is a flexible solution from for measurements on pavements subjected to very heavy traffic such as the Boeing 777 or Airbus 380 aircrafts. With its load range of 7-300 kN, the PRIMAX SHWD meets the load of the Boeing B777-300 having a single wheel load of 266 kN (26.6 tonnes) and the new Airbus A380-800F having a single wheel load of 285 kN (28.5 tonnes).
The PRIMAX SHWD can be supplied as either the trailer-mounted or van-integrated. The operator controls all FWD functions from the PC, which is located in the towing vehicle or in the driver's cabin in the van. For processing and analysing of recorded data, we recommend the software package RoSy®.

PRIMA Light Weight Deflectometer
The PRIMA 100 LWD is a handy instrument for on-site measuring of bearing capacity, thus providing the user with a quick, easy and safe way to assure unbound layer quality. PRIMA 100 measures the surface modulus and presents the results immediately allowing decisions to be made on site.
PRIMA 100 is the only portable falling weight deflectometer applying a load cell. This allows measuring on all layers irrespective of strength, as the drop height is adjustable. PRIMA 100 can be supplied with GPS allowing storage of measuring positions and data in GIS databases. For processing and analysing of recorded data, we recommend the software package RoSy®.

The result is RoSy®, an acknowledged asset & pavement management system which is used for the maintenance of road and airfield pavements worldwide. RoSy® software is supplied as individual program packages and is fully integrated with our program for back and forward-calculation RoSy Design. The RoSy® programs are full Windows versions.
