The Hawkeye 1000 Digital Imaging System (DIS) is a low cost, portable system which provides a wide-angle, detailed and calibrated asset view images at highway speeds.
The system's single, high resolution camera is mounted on the windscreen (interior) of the survey vehicle using an industrial strength suction mounting clamp. The camera can be calibrated to allow on-screen measurement and, in conjunction with the additional GPS module, can offer geo-referencing of roadside assets.
