The Hawkeye 2000 Series Pavement View Digital Imaging System (DIS) is a sophisticated video acquisition system for visually identifying and locating pavement deterioration and cracking. The system utilises the latest digital camera technology and produces crisp high resolution video frames while the high frame rate ensures a continuous and accurate digital record of the roadway.
The video camera accurately log digital images of the pavement against other parameters such as distance/chainage, GPS and profile. The camera and lens are fitted into a waterproof enclosure which is typically mounted on a vehicle roof rack.
