Road Design 101 - online training series
Join us for an online training series from April to May, 2017
This course introduces the context, concepts and principles underlying the practice of designing roads in Australia, New Zealand and other developed countries - how to provide a safe and more efficient road network for all road users.
The training consists of 5 weekly live webinar sessions; each of which is recorded and available to those who cannot attend the live session, or wish to review the content.
Each session has a component to be completed back in the workplace – these include quizzes, activities, reading materials and participation in online discussions.
- Thursday 27th April, 2pm - Overview of road design
- Thursday 4th May, 2pm - Geometric Design
- Thursday 11th May, 2pm - Intersections and Roundabouts
- Thursday 25th May, 2pm - Roadside Design
- Thursday 18th May, 2pm - Drainage Design
