ARRB part of National Roads and Traffic Expo

ARRB will have several guest speakers, including our chief executive officer Michael Caltabiano, at the upcoming National Roads and Traffic Expo in Melbourne in September.

With $600 billion of spending needed over the next 15 years to support Australia’s population and construction boom and to also assist with congestion busting, the Expo presents one of the biggest opportunities in the country.

The free trade show and seminar sessions at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on September 17 and 18 unite road agencies, operators, industry leaders and innovators, providing these key organisations a platform to meet, network and engage.

Market leaders and experts from across the country will attend to do business and get up-to-speed with the latest developments in infrastructure, traffic management, smart mobility, parking, safety and active transport.

Among the key speakers will be Mr Caltabiano, presenting on the new National Transport Research Plan, which aims to identify research gaps in the roads and transport industry, and how they may be addressed.

The Expo will feature more than 200 exhibitors, and 12,000 square metres of exhibition space for new product launches and live demonstrations.

Also among those speaking at the Expo for ARRB are National Road Safety Partnership Program (NRSPP) manager Jerome Carslake, and Dickson Leow, Chief Technology Leader.

Experts from NatRoad, VicRoads, Transurban, ITS Australia, AustCyber, Infrastructure NSW, the TAC and Roads & Maritime Services will also be among the speakers.
