ARRB Services receives ISO accreditation

ARRB’s Services department has now achieved formal accreditation to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. With the Equipment department receiving its ISO certification in 2008, gaining the accreditation for our service activities was a natural progression for the Systems division.

The Services department has collected quality pavement and asset management data across Australia and internationally for over 30 years. The department operates an extensive fleet of modern survey vehicles collecting pavement profile, road and road-side images, road geometry and mapping information, pavement strength testing and other information.

AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System is a joint Australian/New Zealand Standard that is recognized world wide. ISO 9001 certification provides a framework for ensuring total quality, including the establishment of procedures for key processes.

The certification for ARRB Systems at Vermont South Office is of great benefit to ARRB as it has enabled the improvement of efficiencies in our services work. The internationally accepted accreditation will undoubtedly help ARRB Systems provide better services for its customers.
