Congratulations to Adam Ritzinger from ARRB Group, who took part in the iRAP volunteer program in the Philippines

Adam Ritzinger from ARRB Group responded to an iRAP invitation to work as an iRAP volunteer to help with road safety work in the Philippines.

Adam worked at the Department  of Public Works and Highways  (DPWH), in Manila for two weeks  in July 2012, alongside iRAP and  DPWH staff.

The work mainly focussed on devising road safety countermeasure and treatment plans, to address the outcomes of iRAP assessments, and inspecting sites.

Adam also assisted iRAP staff in giving road safety presentations and training on road safety treatments to approximately 60 staff.

Adam describes his time as “a very rewarding  experience – working with locals, helping to address real road safety  issues, new and challenging  experiences”

iRAP kindly acknowledged Adam’s valuable input as a volunteer, and recently presented Adam with an award.
