The 6th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention (DDI2018) - Call for abstracts now open!

The theme for the 6th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention (DDI2018) is Driver engagement during assisted driving.

The DDI2018 is the premiere international event on this topic, attracting around 150 delegates from more than 20 countries.

 The Scientific Committee welcomes abstracts for presentations, papers or posters from all modes of transport and from any relevant discipline including e.g. psychology, neuropsychology, neuroscience, human factors, medicine, ergonomics, sociology, epidemiology, engineering and technology, law and politics. All papers are peer-reviewed.

SAFER have announced that they have a collaboration with IET Journal this year. Authors can choose to contribute with a full paper for a Special Issue of the IET Intelligent Transport Systems journal.

 DDI2018 is hosted and co-organised by the SAFER, the French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, Development and Networks (IFSTTAR), and the Australian Road Research Group (ARRB) and will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, during October 15-17, 2018.
