You are invited to participate in the 18th edition of the International Road Federation (IRF Geneva) World Road Meeting, which will be held in the capital city of India, New Delhi, 14-17 November 2017.   The World Road Meeting is organized once every four years by the IRF, an independent, not-for-profit, membership based federation serving the needs of the road Transport and Mobility sector. The WRM is a prestigious event and is expected to attract over 4,000 participants.

The decision of the IRF to hold this event in India reflects the growing demand for surface transport and mobility in India, and the importance of India as a market for transport infrastructure and services. The World Meeting offers professionals, leaders, experts, companies and governments active in the transport sector, from across the Globe, to come together, meet and discuss issues relevant to them, and to exhibit and showcase their products. Held every four years for more than 60 years, the World Meeting has become a highly regarded and must-attend event.

The IRF has been able to achieve this success thanks to organizations such as ARRB Group Ltd which have been partnering with IRF since the inception of the first IRF World Meeting in 1952.  In order to continue this longstanding and successful tradition Caroline Evans, Senior Economist has been invited to join the Program Committee and has been appointed as a Theme Chair for the Managing Road Assets component of the World Meeting.  Additionally, ARRB has become one of the official supporting organizations of this important event.

In this capacity, ARRB is assisting with publicising and distributing information on this event.  The IRF is putting out this Call for Papers to invite authors to submit abstracts for presentation at the World Road Meeting (WRM) in 2017 (www. WRM2017.org).  The theme for WRM – 2017 is Safe Roads and Smart Mobility: The Engines of Economic Growth and covers the following themes:
