Keynote Presentation by Blair Turner - Safe System implications for speed management

The Quebec Transport Association (AQTr) in Canada held a symposium on ‘Strategies to improve speed management’ in Montreal last week. The symposium allowed professionals to review the latest trends in speed management and discuss the benefits and weaknesses of the available measuring tools.

Blair Turner from ARRB’s Safe System team was asked to deliver a keynote address to the group based on recent research in Australia. The title of the presentation was ‘Safe System implications for speed management’, and this was delivered via webinar. The presentation was recorded and is available for viewing below and here. Further information on AQTr can be found on their website (https://aqtr.com/, in French).
