Sharing good practice: Did you know adult learners need time to reflect?

During ARRB’s Traffic Management 101 webinar series; when teaching “Week 6 - Design and operation of Traffic Control Devices – Signs, Markings & Signals”, participants were asked to take photos of any signs that “don’t make sense”, or do not comply with the standards and guidelines of the state/territory in which they lived. Participants were then asked to upload photos into Schoology; ARRB’s online learning platform.

Participants were able to view each other’s photos, which created an excellent resource for them. The facilitator commented on the photos, and conducted a summary discussion at the beginning of the next session.
