The ACRS welcomes Gabby O’Neill, Head of the National Office of Road Safety, to discuss the next NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY STRATEGY 2021 to 2030 and the new Social Approach to actions for improving Road Safety.

A social model approach involves how we can reach beyond traditional transport agencies to leverage broader sectors of the community to improve road safety. Road safety is not solely a transport or government problem. It questions the starting point of context, environment and existing influences through a layered approach to society. As a result the social model opens up the way for more effective collaboration across society.

Participants, please note - this session will commence at 2 pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). There may be time zone differences that apply. It is recommended that you connect to the webinar 15 minutes prior to allow sufficient time for potential connection delays.
