Malcolm joined ARRB at the start of 2020 after five years within Local Government. With tertiary qualifications in both Civil/Structural Engineering and Finance, Malcolm is experienced in road design, traffic engineering and road safety. Malcolm is passionate in encouraging active travel, providing alternate modes of transport and developing innovative solutions.
With experience in Safe System assessments and road safety audits, Malcolm is currently assisting the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (SA) to provide technical review of design documentation from a road design and road safety perspective. As part of this role, Malcolm ensures findings from Safe System assessments and road safety audits are sufficiently incorporated into designs to provide safer solutions for all road users.
