Sonny Suharto

 

Sonny Suharto re-joined ARRB from City of Gold Coast in 2022. Sonny is a road safety professional with the Mobility Futures Portfolio based in the Brisbane Office. He aims to leverage his extensive road safety and traffic engineering experience to deliver safety outcomes for traditional, emerging and future modes of transport.

 

Sonny previously delivered road safety projects for ARRB as a Road Safety Consultant. He was involved in NetRisk projects and delivered road safety audits in the mining sector for BHP Billiton across Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Sonny was previously the City of Gold Coast’s Senior Project Officer Road Safety, and chairperson of the Gold Coast Road Safety Partnership Advisory Group. In 2020 Sonny led the development and production of Gold Coast Road Safety Plan 2021–2026.
