Course overview

This training program provides a comprehensive overview of the project management of sprayed seals including specifications, binders and aggregates, project documentation, project planning, site inspections and project administration and records.

Terminology, sprayed seal specifications and project documentation are discussed in detail alongside key quality, safety, environmental and emergency measures that are critical elements of ensuring successful sprayed sealing management and operations.

This course will introduce the concept of seal design, which can be further explored by attendees in the Fundamentals of Sprayed Sealing
and Selection and Design of Sprayed Seals courses, also provided by NTRO.

The program provides an expansive insight into sprayed sealing operations management that will benefit project managers, engineers, contract managers, asset managers, technical specialists and site supervisors overseeing bituminous sealing operations and directly involved in the sealing industry. It will also highly benefit State Road Authorities and Local Councils.
