ARRB's TSD is here!

Our Traffic Speed Deflectometer has arrived safe and well from Denmark!

The TSD* uses a Doppler laser system to measure the velocity of the pavement to provide data on the bearing capacity.

The system is currently being fitted with ARRB's Hawkeye equipment and will be ready for testing shortly.

* The TSD has now been rebranded the Intelligent Pavement Assessment Vehicle (iPAVe).
