NACOE FREE webinar: Identification of Residual Risk Funding Allocation Methodology for Elements

Find me on:

NACOE webinar_asset management

15 September 2022, 2:00PM AEST

This FREE NACOE webinar presents an overview of NACOE Project A35 investigation into developing a Residual Risk Funding Allocation Methodology to help assist the Department with appropriate funding allocation of multiple asset maintenance programs across the network.

It can be challenging to manage funding allocation of multiple assets, due to many different risk factors (including climate change and flooding).
These risks affect different parts of the network, and specific roads and assets such as structures, slopes, drainage, signs, and lines, in different ways, due to the unpredictability of scale and frequency of impacts.

This webinar presents an ‘implementation perspective’ on how the Pavement Residual Risk Model (PRRM) and Structure Residual Risk Model (SRRM) were developed and how the outcomes of using these models can be used in TMR risk management best practices.

The topics covered will include:

• Overview & Objectives of Project A35
• What is Residual Risk (RR) & its Potential Impacts ?
• Project Methodology & Overview of Pavement Residual Risk Model (PRRM)
• Project Methodology & Overview of Structure Residual Risk Model (SRRM)
• PRRM & SRRM Next Steps / Future Works in Network Operations
